Day 1: Marrakech – Marrakech
Airport pickup and transfer to accommodation in Marrakech. Free time to make the first contact with the famous Jemaa el Fna.Accommodation in Riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Leaving Marrakech we take the motorway to Casablanca, where we visit the spectacular Mosque of Hassan II. Continue to Rabat, political capital of Morocco, where we will visit the Méchouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Kasbah of Oudayas and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast we head to Meknes, where you can visit luxurious palaces and beautiful mosques and one of the most important souks of Morocco. Continue the route reaching the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a complex declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Overnight in Fez.
Day 4: Fez World Heritage Site.
The fourth day will be devoted entirely to know Fez with the help of a local guide. Fez is the oldest Imperial city in Morocco. Overnight in Fez.
Day 5: Fez – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
Leaving Fez we head south through Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and the cedar forests of Azrou watching the monkeys that live there. Cross the Ziz Valley and its gorges and pass through towns like Midelt and Erfoud. From Erfoud we take a desert road to reach Merzouga, where we stay in a hotel near the dunes.
Day 6: Merzouga – Merzouga
The sixth day will be devoted entirely to enjoy the desert. Will cross the dunes in the 4X4, visit nomads, oasis and we will ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Visit the famous village of Khamlia and enjoy its folk music. At dusk we will take camels to take us to the Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where we will spend the night.
Day 7: Merzouga – Todra and Dades Gorges
After enjoying the sunrise in the desert,we ride the camels again back to the hotel, where you can have breakfast and shower. Leaving Merzouga we head towards Todra Gorges crossing Berber villages. Arriving at the Dades Valley, where we spend the night.
Day 8: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate
After breakfast we take the road of the “Thousand Kasbahs” and, after visiting nomads living in caves,we arrive in the Valley of the Roses, you will have free time to explore the area.
Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
The last day we visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous Kasbah and continue north through the Atlas Mountains through the pass at Tizi n Tichka, 2,260 meters high. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
Day 10: Marrakech – Marrakech Airport
There is the possibility of a guided tour to discover the Medina of Marrakech before going to the airport if you have time.
